How Do I Lose Weight and Keep it off?
The million-dollar question is: What kind of Diet will help me lose weight??
Carbohydrates 40% Calories
- As a general rule never let the size of the protein on your plate exceed the thickness in the size of your palm.
- Always choose a leaner lower fat source of protein such as cold water fish, chicken, or lean cuts of meat.
- The amount of excercise and lead body mass of the person will vary this amount.
- The size of the protein will determine the overall amount of carbohydrates.
Fats 30% Calories
- Make sure that you eat the Essential Fatty Acids. These are found in: avocados, nuts, olive oil, etc. Zone Diet book, South Beach Diet Book and the Revised Atkins Diet Books are very helpful. These can be purchased at your local bookstore. This will teach you how to count and choose the right Carbohydrates to eat. For example, choose strawberries instead of bananas.
- Never let mroe than five hours pass without eating a snack or meal in the 40:30:30: proportions.
- Eating your breakfast can actually increase your metabolism.
- Don't eat below 1000 calories per day as this will decrease your metabolism or rate of burning food.
- Purchase from Dr. Vera Figure 8 which will decrease your sugar cravings, help with weight loss, increase metabolism.
Fiber
- Always choose high fiber and low in sugar, when possible-fruits and vegetables, Kashi Go Lean Cereal or cereal with low carb and high fiber.
Water
- Choose water over drinks with calories when possible. Drink at least three 8 oz. glasses of water.
Exercise
- After 20 minutes of exercise, you begin to improve your good cholesterol or HDL and burn fat. You can also decrease your chance of Heart attack and breast cancer with 45 minutes or walking 5 times per week.
- Brisk walking is a great exercise, although it's important to check with your doctor before you begin and exercise program if you have any medical problems or concerns.
- The more muscle mass you have, the higher your metabolism rate will be to burn off calories.
- Therefore, lightweights used as a part of an exercise routine to maintain body tone are very helpful.

- Drink a glass of water immediately upon rising
- Eat a big breakfast with as much of: fruits, vegetables
- Drink 8 glasses of distilled water each day
- Walk for at least one hour, nonstop per day

- Rebound: mini trampoline for ten minutes a day

- Use organic apple cider vinegar take a couple teaspoons before each meal
